REVIEW THE OPEN POSITION DESCRIPTIONS:
The President-Elect prepares to assume the office of President and fill the office of President should that office become vacant for the remainder of the term, fulfill the role and duties of secretary in the event of a vacancy of said office, maintains the Chapter Operating Policies updated as the Board makes changes throughout the year.
The Treasurer-Elect prepares to assume the office of Treasurer and fill the office of Treasurer should that office become vacant for the remainder of the term, works closely with the current Treasurer while becoming familiar with the Treasurer’s duties, responsibilities, and chapter financial structure.
Board Members assist the President and Board of Directors in guiding activities of the Chapter.
Board Member #1 is liaison to and responsible for receiving updates and reports from Education/ Program Committee, Nominating Committee, and the CNE/IPU Provider.
Board Member #2 is liaison to and responsible for receiving updates and reports from, Professional Advancement, Surveillance SIG, and the Mentoring SIG program. In addition, reviews and revises the Bylaws per APIC Headquarters’ requirements, as applicable.
Board Member #3 is liaison to and responsible for receiving updates and reports from Governmental Affairs and Awards committees, and the Historian.
The Nominating Committee provides qualified candidates for the ballot each year.
Three members selected each year.
Chairperson is the one who receives the most votes.
