Recently, AAMI released the new ST91 Standards related to best practices in reprocessing flexible endoscopes. During this webinar program, the key strategies to reduce the potential for device contamination and patient harm will be reviewed in detail. This webinar will discuss evidence-based approaches to implement the new standards across for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr. Hudson Garrett Jr. is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He also co-founded the nonprofit the Infection Prevention Institute to help shepherd the dissemination of best practices of infection prevention and control across the healthcare continuum of care globally. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Infection Prevention and Infection Control from the University of South Florida. He has completed the Johns Hopkins Fellows Program in Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control. Dr. Garrett is a Fellow in both the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
