ATTENTION APIC DFW MEMBERS:
Hospital-onset bacteremia (HOB) surveillance is quickly becoming an important topic in infection prevention. As our profession prepares for future implementation, understanding our readiness is essential.
APIC-DFW is pleased to support doctoral research being conducted by one of our members, Tia Johnson, MSHS, MLS(AMT), CIC, examining Infection Preventionists' perceived readiness to implement HOB surveillance.
We invite you to participate in this important study.
Participation includes:
- Complete a brief pre-survey
- Watch a self-paced prerecorded educational module
- Complete a brief post-survey
The entire process takes approximately one hour and may be completed at your convenience.
The study will remain open for only three weeks: July 29 – August 18!
Your participation will help identify implementation needs, educational opportunities, and factors influencing readiness for HOB surveillance implementation.
