STAR Award Nominations Now Open!

Dear APIC DFW Members,

Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their dedication to and impact on the field of Infection Prevention?

We are excited to announce that the nomination period for the APIC DFW STAR Awards is now open! This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to Infection Prevention and have made meaningful contributions to our field.

We encourage you to nominate yourself or a colleague who exemplifies excellence. Your participation is essential in helping us celebrate the outstanding talent within APIC DFW.

• Eligibility Criteria: STAR Award recipients are selected based on criteria aligned with the APIC Competency Model (included in the application for reference!)
• Eligibility Period: September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026
• Deadline: Nominations close on September 1, 2026
